From April 2, 2025, all Swedish citizens planning to visit or transit through the United Kingdom must apply for an entry permit, known as an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), before departure. At check-in, your ETA will be electronically verified to ensure it is approved and that the details match those in your passport.
