New Life Mission is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting single parents facing significant financial challenges, with many struggling to cover school fees, rent, and food costs. Travel Service is a proud sponsor of the Lifebag project in Kenya, an initiative where women from disadvantaged areas weave handmade bags from recycled plastic.
The Lifebag project provides these women with the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency and take control of their daily lives. Thirty per cent of the revenue from Lifebag sales goes towards production, administration, and wages for the women, whose income is equivalent to that of a Kenyan nursing assistant. The remaining 70 per cent is directed towards New Life Mission’s various social projects.
